An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Executive to join a dynamic, international finance team in Kingston Vale, Greater London. You’ll handle day-to-day bookkeeping, supplier payments, reconciliations, payroll, VAT returns, and more, working closely with external accountants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all financial functions.

Role Overview
The Accounts Executive will manage supplier payments, reconciliations, payroll, and VAT returns, while supporting month-end close and tax filings. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and collaborate with accountants to refine financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Process and schedule payments across multiple currencies and regions
- Bank & Account Reconciliation: Regular reconciliation of bank, credit card, and payment accounts in Xero
- Currency Management: Assist with multi-currency transactions and FX handling
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance
- Collaboration: Liaise with external accountants for month-end close and tax filings
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Payroll Management: Ensure payroll is run accurately and on time each month
- VAT Returns: Execute VAT returns in a timely manner
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or finance administration
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation tools)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in multi-currency transactions
- Clear communication skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with international suppliers and multi-currency accounting
- Background in travel, hospitality, or consumer services sectors
- Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack)
