Shift Patterns
- Weekdays: 15:00 – 21:00 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays)
- Weekends: 08:00 – 18:00 (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Adhoc Shifts: Available Monday–Sunday
- Booking: Shifts can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance
Role Overview
The Healthcare Assistant/Nursery Nurse will provide 2:1 care in the client’s home, supporting daily activities and ensuring care plans are followed. You’ll work closely with the Nurse and family members, building rapport and delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2:1 care alongside an experienced Nurse
- Support with activities such as walks, swimming, and trike rides
- Build rapport with family members and colleagues
- Follow care plans, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained
- Encourage independence and wellbeing through therapy and sensory play
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent UK experience in the healthcare sector
- Clear spoken English and strong communication skills
- Knowledge or experience with therapy/sensory play (advantageous)
- Compassionate, energetic personality with a passion for supporting young people
