Profuse Care Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join the team. The role focuses on providing essential assistance to individuals, promoting well-being, independence, and dignity. The ideal candidate will offer support in daily living, personal care, companionship, and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.

Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.

Assist with behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs.

Maintain accurate records of client progress and report changes in condition to relevant professionals.

Support clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Ensure a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, personalised care.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in supported living, home care, or patient care.

NVQ Level 2/3.

Knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred.

Familiarity with hospice care or senior care practices is a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Valid driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy in challenging situations.

Relevant health and social care qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and behaviour management training.
