- Night Shifts: Monday–Sunday, 21:00–08:00 (£35–£36/hour depending on weekday/weekend)
- Day Shifts (Weekdays): Monday–Friday, 15:00–21:00 (£33/hour)
- Day Shifts (Weekends): Saturday–Sunday, 08:00–18:00 (£35/hour)
Role Overview
The Paediatric Nurse will provide 1:1 and 2:1 care in the client’s home, ensuring dignity, respect, and independence are maintained. You’ll follow care plans, build rapport with family members, and support the client both at home and during external activities such as medical appointments and family trips.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in line with care plans
- Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support in the home environment
- Build rapport with family members and colleagues
- Support sensory and play therapy activities
- Assist with outings and community activities
- Ensure dignity, respect, and independence are promoted
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 12 months UK experience (within the last 2 years) working with complex clinical needs
- Skills and experience in:
- Enteral feeding
- Seizure management
- Oxygen administration
- Play therapy
- Medication administration
- Manual handling
- Ability to escalate changes to clinical leads and follow care plans accurately
