Job Summary
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking 2 project support officers who enjoy working with people and helping them demonstrate the difference their services make to service users. These are fixed term positions until the end of March 2027 and could be offered as secondments with agreement from the applicant’s line manager.
The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board works with organisations and individuals across the region, driving an ambitious portfolio of programmes. The roles support a range of programmes, including service developments for babies, children and young people, unpaid carers, people with lived experience of learning disabilities, and community-based services for older people.
In return, applicants will join a warm and welcoming team working with service users and staff from Welsh Government, local authorities, housing, and the third sector. This role supports aspiring managers and change agents by developing skills in change management and performance monitoring. Please see the website for more details.
Main Duties of the Job

Work in support of the Regional Partnership Board.

Take responsibility for the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of projects.

Provide lead responsibility for administrative support across multiple programmes.

Develop close working relationships with local authority leads, health managers, education staff, third sector, and community partners.

Represent the Regional Partnership Board at internal and external meetings.

Develop specialist knowledge (through education/training) to support key delivery plans.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 15 months to meet the needs of the service.
