Role Overview
Support Workers will work with a diverse group of individuals with learning disabilities, each with unique abilities and needs. You’ll play a vital role in their lives by assisting with daily routines, providing emotional support, and helping them achieve independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities and routines
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Promote independence and inclusion in the community
- Work flexibly across various shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Build meaningful relationships with service users and their families
Eligibility Requirements
- Genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references required
