Role Overview

Support Workers will work with a diverse group of individuals with learning disabilities, each with unique abilities and needs. You’ll play a vital role in their lives by assisting with daily routines, providing emotional support, and helping them achieve independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities and routines
  • Provide emotional support and companionship

  • Work flexibly across various shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
  • Build meaningful relationships with service users and their families

  • Genuine passion for supporting others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Enhanced DBS check and suitable references required
